Bipolar molecular outflow from M17

چکیده
Kinematics of the molecular clouds in star forming complex M17 is studied using high-resolution CO-line mapping data at resolution ($20" \sim 0.2$ pc) with Nobeyama 45-m telescope. The northern cloud M17, which we call "lobe", shown to have an elongated shell structure around a top-covered cylindrical cavity. lobe expanding $\sim 5$ \kms minor axis direction, and $ 3/\cos \ i$ km s$^{-1}$ major where $i$ inclination axis. kinetic energy motion on order 3\times 10^{49}$ ergs. We show that backyard having common origin denser "horn" flowing out from NGC 6618 toward south, so horn compose bipolar outflow. Intensity distributions across double-peak profile typical for cylinder Position-velocity diagrams (PVD) exhibit open ring higher- and/or lower-velocity side(s) being lacking or faded. This particular PVD behavior can be attributed outflow conical flow velocity increasing axes.

A Micro Molecular Bipolar Outflow From HL Tau
We present detailed geometry and kinematics of the inner outflow toward HL Tau observed using Near Infrared Integral Field Spectograph (NIFS) at the Gemini-North 8-m Observatory. We analyzed H2 2.122 μm emission and [Fe II] 1.644 μm line emission as well as the adjacent continuum observed at a <0. 2 resolution. The H2 emission shows (1) a bubble-like geometry to the northeast of the star, as br...
متن کاملMolecular emission from the shocked bipolar outflow in OH 231 . 8 + 4 . 2
We present high-resolution observations of several molecular lines in OH231.8+4.2 taken with the IRAM interferometer. All molecules are distributed in a narrow region along the symmetry axis, and flow outwards following a velocity gradient similar to that found in CO. The HCO emission is found to be very clumpy and strongly enhanced in the shock-accelerated lobes, indicating that the formation ...
متن کاملTracing the Bipolar Outflow from Orion Source I
Using CARMA, we imaged the 87 GHz SiO v=0 J=2-1 line toward Orion-KL with 0.45 angular resolution. The maps indicate that radio source I drives a bipolar outflow into the surrounding molecular cloud along a NE–SW axis, in agreement with the model of Greenhill et al. (2004). The extended high velocity outflow from Orion-KL appears to be a continuation of this compact outflow. High velocity gas e...

Context. Changing physical conditions in the vicinity of protostars allow for a rich and interesting chemistry to occur. Heating and cooling of the gas allows molecules to be released from and frozen out on dust grains. These changes in physics, traced by chemistry as well as the kinematical information, allows us to distinguish between different scenarios describing the infall of matter and th...
متن کاملH 2 bipolar emission associated with the quadrupolar molecular outflow in L 723
We present near-infrared images of the quadrupolar CO outflow in L723, formed by two lobe pairs of different size. Bipolar molecular hydrogen line emission is detected, approximately centered on the Class 0 source L723 VLA2. One of the observed H2 nebulosities coincides with the Herbig-Haro object HH 223. The H2 bipolar outflow is projected against the large lobe pair of the quadrupolar CO outf...
